You can't go wrong with either. Maybe the Schells over Summit for the +.5%, I'll end up having more of the Summit due to it's inclusion in the spring sampler and it's 12 pk pkg at a great price. Both fine examples of style and very delicious this season. Kudo's go out to MN.

I did a side-by-side of these beers a couple weeks ago, and was suprised how similar they are to each other. Summit was a bit more floral in the aromatics, while Schell's was more floral in the taste. The deciding factor in which one I drink more often is the body. Schell's is just slightly too full bodied for me to drink more than one or two at a time, but Summit is just right.

I like them both. I might prefer Schell's but I just have not seen it around this year. I usually buy a couple of 12-packs every spring too.

Wish we could get the Schells in northern MN....I'll pick some up next time down in the cities...from past thoughts I think I would take Schell Maifest although it has a little more of an alcohol bite to it...years ago(late 90's) I thought Maifest was the best beer I ever had....still like it and Summit but have tempered my enthusiasm a little...
