    Just saw an ad in the new Growler mag (can’t find a link to post) that Summit’s Old Blaggard Barleywine is making a return appearance. One of my favorite one-offs that Summit has done and very happy to see it again. Had some great fruit/fig/cherry flavors- aged well also. Liked it better than the one they did after- the 30th anniversary edition.

    If you visit the Summit web site and click on "Brews", a Union Series #7 is there, and the label is Old Blaggard (the original was Union Series #5, IIRC), but if you click on the picture, you get "page not found".

    Thanks for the update- I have been watching for it. Too bad they didn’t bring back the 12 oz. Sizer’s!

    Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but Old Blaggard is packaged in 12 ounce bottles.

    Well that post was a bust!
    First- autocorrected, should have said “Sixer’s” not “Sizer’s”
    Second- upon further review it was previously released in 4 packs also, not 6 packs as I thought!
