Just grabbed one of these at Binnys, says to consume within 60 days.

    Anyone try it? Thoughts?

The coffee notes may fade a bit with longer aging, but it's an incredible beer that won't disappoint either way!

I had it at a year old and it was no bueno. Tons of green pepper from the fading coffee. Drink it fresh!

I've only had this beer fresh....and I'd be surprised if this beer improved or was as good a year later. It's my favorite coffee stout....sooooo good.

I just picked up a bottle yesterday and plan on drinking it this weekend. No need to age a coffee infused stout!

The coffee flavor in Sump is exceptional. It does not improve w/age.

How, specifically, is it changing year to year? Genuinely curious....

Coffee is less present but still very much there. More stout flavors take over. Still even 2 years old puts other coffee beers to shame

Shared a 2015 sump on Christmas Eve and it was still as good as I remember it being at the release. I kept it in the fridge all year and it had no green pepper flavor and, in fact, still had a well balanced coffee flavor.
