    Anybody going to the anniversary party in Indy this Saturday? I was hoping to go, but having a 10 day old is proving to be a bit of a handful. I am hoping to snag a 4 pack or 2 of Grapefruit Jungle via trade. Love picking up Sun King when I'm in Indiana and this one sounds like it is right up my alley.

    GFJ is seeing some distro, so even if you can't find anyone going to the party, you'll probably be able to find someone to trade with.

    I saw sunking tweeted about visiting their facebook page for details. I'm not on facebook and wasn't able to view it. Did anyone happen to see if they mentioned any details regarding distrobution? Basically, when will this start showing up in local stores?

    It said July 8th it'll hit limited Indiana distro. July 6th cans are available at the taproom as well as growler fills. It said no limit at the taproom in terms of 4 packs of cans. $17.50 per 4 pack is STEEP though. Reminds me of Brewery Vivant's "special" releases.

    I asked them about limits today and they indicated they are still deciding on limits....so that no limit might change, but who knows.

    I can't make the release party, but man I really hope to snag a few four packs. I generally buy mostly Flat 12 stuff for local beer because I think it's just better.....but I love GFJ. Was pretty disappointed they didn't can it last year. Really don't want to miss it this year....

    What would you recommend from Flat 12? I plan on grabbing some to finally give that brewery a trial run next time I'm in West Lafayette.

    Walkabout is pretty great. Although, they don't bottle date and you risk getting bottles that are not that fresh. If you are ever in the Indy area, stop by the brewery. Their limited/brewery only stuff is my favorite (as is typical with most small breweries).

    $5.84/bomber isn't what I'd call expensive, especially for a very good beer.

    $6.02/bomber would be awesome, but it costs $17.50 per 4 pack. That's the price. I'll never understand the whole price per ounce comparison. I would only really need a 6 oz pour of Melange 3 for $7.09, but either I pay $30 for a bottle or I don't. That's how it works.

    I'm hopeful to snag a trade for a pair of 4 packs, but it'll be tougher to work out a proper dollar for dollar trade at $35. Hopefully somebody needs some New Glarus Thumbprints or Fruits.

    I drink a lot of Walkabout. and Half Cycle. I usually get them at Kahns, which I'm pretty sure they go through a lot of Flat 12 stuff so generally when I get it freshness isn't an issue. The Porter is really good, but i haven't bought that in a while.

    growler fills dont start till monday and they were pretty clear to me that there was no limit on the amount of cans you can purchase.... IMO GFJ is worth 17.50/per!
