NJ does not sell beer at grocery stores in general. But there are some exceptions. Whole foods on rt4 sells beer and there cooler is pretty stacked. If they have boat beer cans grab em. Otherwise i think paramus doesnt sell beer on sundays. Only town to still observe blue laws.

We don't sell boat at total wine, its a "red tape" issue. But you may be able to find it at the whole foods/local shop rites.
Otherwise please come in as we have a ton of stuff. Realize that with our new building its likely to be insane and very busy, it has been for the past 2 weeks.

EDIT: If garry is there ask for him, he knows a great deal about beer and would be happy to help. Unfortunately I will be off so I can't help you on that particular day.

Just went to whole foods paramus and absolutely nothing there. Such a bummer too cause they used to have an exceptional selection.

    Total bummer about that.

FWIW- Total Wine in River Edge has moved to a larger building sort of in the same lot but closer to Route 4. It's flippin' ginormous. I don't have a bead on it yet because I was there the day they opened and they were still stocking shelves, but the beer department is huuuuuge. There is an aisle dedicated to just 12-packs and mix packs, an aisle for singles and bombers, etc. It's open on Sunday and would be worth a look for @TexlaCopperpot .

ETA: I requested that BA update the address, and it looks like they already did:

The reviews are still from the old location, though.

Boat is sold at just 2 stores in Bergen County: Whole Foods Paramus and Drinks HoHoKus. That being said, the state is basically bone dry of Carton cans except directly at the brewery. The next scheduled canning date is 6/27. As far as paramus on sunday yes you can buy beer but there's not anywhere really spectacular. Total Wine is nice that they are so large and carry everything but never seem to see anything I want there. Use this as your guide http://seekabrew.com/distro/compare.html but nothing spectacular has come out in the past month at least and anything that came out before that is long gone. Neshaminy Creek Leon is a nice underrated beer that you may still find on shelves. The latest batch of enjoy by may be sitting around but for the first time they did something different and was not impressed. The best NJ beers are draft only so I'd say go for a pint somewhere. Always gotta pimp http://www.thecopperminepub.com/ They open at 2 tomorrow. Look for any Kane and Carton on tap you can find.
