It's back - the BA coffee stout of my dreams! I grabbed two four-packs for $15 a pop at Burlington Wegman's yesterday. On a pallet out in the middle of the floor next to their Sunday Mole Stout stock.

I saw they had this at Julios in Westborough. I've never had Sunday Morning Stout, do you like it better than KBS?

It's also been years since I've had anything from Weyerbacher, although I do remember enjoying their tripel but they definitely seem to fly way under the radar.

I like it slightly better than KBS... seems a little thicker, more viscous to me. Whether it's better or not than KBS, though, it's a fantastic BA coffee stout.

I'd also suggest their Sunday Mole Stout - same base beer, not barrel-aged, but with "mole" spice. It's very nice, like Stone Xocoveza, although I like the Mole Stout more.

Pemberton Farms had at least half a case left this afternoon: $16.99.

Interested to see whether I prefer this to the Lagunitas High Westified, which is IMO is far and away the value champion in its current format.

I talked to a guy at some local liquor store recently (could probably nail it down) and he said they got Sunday Morning Stout in January, they had a few four packs left of the Mole Stout left...based on that, so does this new thread suggest it's back again? I thought it was once a year?

SMS is a yearly release, similar to KBS and BCBS. Mole Stout I'm not sure - it's been available near me for months now, so it might be a year-round offering, which would be groovy.

Thanks, given that I'll probably wait until next year as I've got enough stouts in the cellar to last until 2020...at least...but then again, if I pass by Marty's, I'm sure I'll be tempted to buy at least one bottle to start the aging process at the very least...!
