Sunk Punk. Would you pay £12 for a 341 ml bottle?

  1. Yes. Its a steal. More valuable than all the bullion on the Santa Rosa.

Saw that same bottle of Sunk Punk today but it was £15. Could have sworn it was £12 when I first viewed it. If its still there next time I half expect it to push the £18-20 mark. Fools and their money.

I know what you mean guys. I remember paying the £11 and loose change for a De Molen Tsarina Esra Imperial Porter and a Green Flash West Coast IPA and thinking they were pretty steep but still (just) cheaper than the Sunk Punk.

    That's crazy money.

Brewdog have just released some on their webshop - currently £10 (grab one now before tomorrow's price rise).

Their IPA is dead series has gone - I dithered over getting some and now the moment has passed. Gah!

Its amazing how fast certain BrewDog beers go. They certainly do seem to have some obsessive fanboys who snatch up new releases before they're even promoted.

Yeah the anarchist one wasn't there for long I don't think. Surprising that Hops Kill is still there, cheap even for how good it is.

That's true - the Anarchist IPA that went up earlier has gone. However, the IPA is dead set was available for over a week, I just couldn't make my mind up to go for it. I suppose I was hoping that some of the other planned releases would occur and I could combine a purchase, which is silly logic. I don't want the Anarchist at a price of £10 anyway. Libertine porter still to come....

The Anarchist has just hit Dublin too actually at €10.00 a bottle. Not going to say my head wasn't turned, but again I don't think I am willing to fork out that much. My issue here is really that I don't have faith in Brewdog to deliver. This has derived from past experiences with their special releases. For example I would have no hesitation in paying that for say a Bourbon County Stout. I know I'm going to get something excellent. Not that this would be a regular occurance mind.
