Any one going to this? Went last year and had a lot of fun. They are offering Uber rides this year.

If it were another day, I might. Prior commitment, however, so not this year.

What does a Sun King release party entail? I've got a guy I need to pick some up for as well as my yearly 4 pack. Just a lot of drinking and the usual hipster band?

I found this to be very average last year.

Its also their anniversary party, so pretty much what you'd imagine with some cool speciality stuff tapped periodically, I presume. Though I bet it should be pretty easy to get from them for the next week or so

So was last year's different from other years? I only bought one 4-pack, since it was priced so highly. And, like you, I was underwhelmed and thankful I only bought the four.

According to SK, cans of GFJ won't be available for purchase until the day after the release party. I'm not sure about growler purchases though. Just a heads up for those who are going saturday to the party.

In other words you have no idea.

It is some bands and local food trucks. You buy tickets to buy beer and just sit with friends and enjoy the evening. You can buy GFJ to drink there, but you can't take it with you. If you go, bring a camp chair.
