Sunset Strip Brewery

Since Iron Triangle kinda fell off our radar of comedic brewery openings, at least this one can now takes it place.

My favorite contradiction is they claim they will not be a contract brewery but then go on to state that only once their beer is everywhere in the southwest then they will build a brewery facility. Pretty sure that means they are a contract brewery until X # of years.

 

still seems like a troll account to me. how could you possibly brag about not brewing your own beer or getting your hands dirty?

a friend and i were talking about how it would be funny to have a fake brewery and continually push back the opening date (a la Firestone Walker). maybe not that funny but kind of?


on the subject of "Sunset Strip Brewery" fake or not i'm surprised we haven't seen more LA themed brewery names. seems like there are still so many up for the taking

Seems like a BA member who missed the comedy from the Iron Triangle thread and decided to take matters into his own hands by creating a fake brewery.

What does "good news, we are close on deciding on a partner" even mean? Like, hey we don't have enough capital yet to do literally anything but we are flipping through business partner applications and then we can start the many months long process of starting to build and open?

It would take celebrity money to open up a brewery on the Sunset Strip. Or some trust fund little snot, which this dude MIGHT be, but I don't think it's a real brewery. Check the ABC - no license at all.
