Another vote for the facemelting ultrabitter Moylan's Hopsickle. I've had bigger beers but not more bitter ones.

I don't think I've seen Maharaja mentioned... I had it side by side with Hopslam and thought Maharaja was hoppier... and tastier. Maharaja + spicy indian food = WINNING!

I've seen some Ca online stores that carry Mongo, shouldn't be too hard.

Do Can Imperial Destroyer IPA: Imperial Destroyer IPA: A triple Imperial IPA with an IBU of 318. Does it destroy other IPA’s? Does it destroy the palate? Or is it something totally different? You’ll have to try one to find out.

I didn't think Maharaja was that bitter, just very fragrant. More on the citrus than the piney side, I actually thought it was light in terms of tasting anything high on the bitter end. Do agree with the food pairing though!

I recently tried their Half Cycle IPA myself and found it to be pleasently bitter. It was definitely the first thing I noticed and liked about the brew.

I had Simtra at my bachelor party. While it's amazingly hoppy, the sheer bitterness of it is nowhere near Hopsickle. Nowhere. Simtra is a better beer, by far. Taste, aroma, you name it, it's better, but it's not more bitter than Hopsickle.

I saw Hoptimum mentioned as well, and I gotta say, it's probably pretty close to Hopsickle. I couldn't finish a whole bottle by myself due to the overwhelming bitterness. Also doesn't help that I couldn't find much character to it behind the bitterness.

Bell's The Oracle is very bitter, but has a caveat: It has to be fresh-fresh. It drops off quicker than any other beer I've had to date. Literally, less than 3 weeks after getting bottles of it, it had started to lose its punch, and after 6 weeks, it was almost a super hoppy barleywine.

Try Stone Ruinten when it's around. Insanely bitter beer, but really enjoyable. The first time I tried the 10th Anniversary run I started to cough and my head shook like a wet dog due to hop shock. I think it's around 110 IBUS.

I just had a two week old Double Crooked Tree and didn't find it to be bitter at all. A very good beer, you don't taste the 12%, but also not incredibly bitter. It was the first time I've tried, so I'll have to revisit.
