Yeah $9.50 for 10oz is getting nuts, you'd think you were at a Wild game or something.

Last year they had Abrasive at some T-Wolves games and it wasn't that expensive. Ridiculous pricing.

Abrasive should be avail in retail setting next week at the earliest, its going to be the first beer that is canned out from the new brewery according to my sources, so no frets BA's soon you will have it in your home.... Soon.....

Its $4.50 less for only 2 less ounces at the brewery, why and the hell are they marking it up so much?

Not to mention a huge variety of other Surly stuff, and probably cleaner taps.

Here is the layout for the industry:

-Taprooms (think kegs are already purchased) you can charge a flat rate based upon your cost of ingredients, time and space.

-Retail(Cost of Canning, Distribution, and Retail markups) The distributor buys the products for an agreed price, then turn around and sell it to the retailer for a higher price (until the breweries contract is up for that agreed price) the retailer then takes it and works on building a brand by having a set retail mark. If a retailer is selling something at cost, or the distributor, no one is making money in that instance except the brewery. its always best to enjoy beers in taprooms for freshness and quality, but when you don't feel like taking the travel (or the cab ride home and back) that's where the (convenience factor comes in) its all about making the world go round.
