After all that wait, I actually prefer Axe Man in a side by side.

Abrasive on tap at the Mankato Craft Beer Expo yesterday (very fresh), plus Smoke 2010 vintage. Both were excellent. My wife and I went in 2013 and 2014, and this year it seemed like there were literally twice as many people attending. Beer nerds all ova da place.

And ramay86 may be on to something regarding Axe Man .......................

Surly needs to do us all a huge favor and can Todd the Axe Man.

Not a big Surly fan at all. But I would really like to try Fiery Hell. How is it?

    I really liked Dumpster Fire.

Maybe they'll have Fiery Hell at The Beer Dabbler next week?

Fiery Hell was my son's favorite beer when we visited The Mother Ship last week - and he also had Axe Man. I preferred Axe Man (I think it is most excellent), but Fiery Hell is really good - unless you don't like "pepper" beers. It packs some heat.

Fiery Hell was pretty tasty... Abrasive was delicious at the brewery on tap this weekend. Headed over Friday night with some friends and even among the less beer savvy in the group it was well received. Kinda disappointed it wasn't available retail yet either.

I just checked my calendar and no meetings from early morning to the end of the day (yet...). I can go Abrasive hunting, I may even try truck chasing for the first time.

Abrasive will be hitting stores today for those who cannot contain themselves.

Some stores are getting it today. Most stores will get it on their normal delivery day this week, like Tuesday

Just grabbed some at Haskell's Minnetonka. One four pack limit, only received two cases.

Two cases? Feck, this doesn't look good. Liquor Barrel also has a one 4pk limit.

I remember it being a one pack limit last year for the first delivery. Pain in the butt the first week, but it gets easier each delivery.

Mgr at Haskells said they received 2 cases this morning and were "told" to limit it. At home now and the cans say "brewed and canned in Brooklyn Center" with no date stamp. Hopefully this is fresh and not the distributor clearing out year old DIPA before going to the fresh stuff?

I remember it sucking the first week, but only because people were buying cases on top of cases of it. I'm sure it won't be an issue after the initial rush, but am a bit surprised some places would get as little as two cases.

FWIW, I had a few beers at Pub 42 last month and was in shock when I got my bill. Consistently $2-3 per beer more expensive than the places I go to normally. I think they have a decent selection if beers, but are definitely overpriced compared to most everywhere else.

I only remember hearing about limits last year, but I wasn't paying too much attention to it. Though now that you mention it, I can't remember if Princeton's got 2 cases or 4 last year, I know they had a 1 pack limit though.

Picked up some cans at Princetons dated 01/13/15. Not sure why the Haskell ones are undated.
