Got 2 4-packs from Princeton's, 1/13 date, indentation of 36, address on the can says brooklyn park. (whew...)

No head, very little carb. Flavor is kinda there. Really just tastes like a flat abrasive. Which is odd for a just poured can.

Took a pic, I'll share once I get it uploaded somewhere.

    Maybe your glass was dirty...lol
    Here's yours:

But seriously, mine tasted flat as hell also.
Glad to see that I'm not losing my mind, but I'm sad to see that yours was canned 1/13.

Geeze, I can't believe those pictures. I'm on my third one and none of them are anything like those. Even after 10-15 min they don't look like that. That sucks guys...

I wonder if all of this has to do with the new canning line?
I did have a freshly canned one during opening weekend at the brewery and it was outstanding. I drank it out of the can so I cant comment on lacing/head all that other pretty stuff. Definitely was not flat either.

I just hope that the people that are hooking up their good trading partners aren't affected.
    Good luck to those guys
I quit trading (except IP) a while ago.
Just got to be too much of a grind for me.

Just opened a can I bought from Princeton's earlier today, dated 01-13-15 in white on the bottom with a 31 stamped. Had little to no head and it dissipated quickly and does seem rather flat/not that great compared to memory. The can also has a ring all the way around it indented about a inch from the bottom that I don't remember being on any other surly can in the past.

My 1/13 abrasive isn't flat and tastes just as good as it always has.

If it was old stock from last year, it would definitely have a date on it.

Canned 1/13. Other than lower carb than I remember, it's great. Maybe my can is dirty.....

Picked up from Haskells MTKA. Tastes as delicious as ever, with no discernible can date on it.

In the interest of science, I opened a second from the same 4-pack. Same date, but no "36" imprinted on the bottom. Got a big fluffy head with a hard pour. After that it still seems a little light in carbonation, but perhaps I'm being biased. In the further interest of science, I'll continue to drink abrasive regularly over the next several weeks and see what happens.

Got a 4 pack from Haskells with no date. Also a 4 pack from Princetons with 1/13/15. Opened one of each and they taste and look the same....hard to tell fresh from a year old though with Abrasive if stored properly.

Sent a sweet to Todd and he said the non dated ones were 99.9% fresh. Does seem odd that some are missing dates.
