Northern Metro sightings anyone? Headed to Circle Pines, I'm willing to head into the city a bit since we're down here.

 

Checked a couple of places, WBL to Shoreview, this afternoon and all were out. They said they only got a small amount, 1 case? Hopefully there will be more shipments before Thanksgiving.

 

Zipps had a ton when I was there ~1hr ago.

 

Picked up a four pack of Abrasive last night along with a four pack of Furious. Decided to open a bottle of Darkness and get a little hamstered. Finished 3 Furious and called it a night. Tonight Abrasive will be mine, all mine. Along with some Ovalde Farms The Auroch's Horn Aged on Rhubarb.

 

What does a 4pack cost there?

 

Anyone got an online retailer that's going to have this for us out of town folks? Anyone want to get a trade with a west coaster? pm

Or 16.99 at the firkins but they have uv lights! For those asking, the $1.00 ( at least) markup on everything is one of the things I have against the four firkins.

 

16.99 is hardly exclusive to FF, 15.99 is more the outlier if anything.

 

Really? I could name a lot more stores at 15.99 then 16.99....of course they don't have uv lights!

 

But those UV lights are critical to preserving the contents of those 2 day old cans....

 

Not to nit pick, but they are LED lights. It's UV lights (standard florescent) that cause the issues.

 

Fudge Four Firkins.

 

Four Firkins charge more than anywhere else in the SLP area, which similar to the above sentiments, is why I shop elsewhere. I know enough about beer to make my own decisions, I don't need to pay extra for that. I do really appreciate how they have the cajones to back Sunday sales though, most stores don't.

 

FF - ale jail cost more because they only sell beer. Like most specialty stores, their margins aren't as big. If you don't support them they will cease to exist. I don't do all my shopping at these specialty shops but I do my part because I want to see them be successful.

 

if you don't go there, fine, but no need to publicly flog them over something costing a $1 more.

 

Seriously! They are a specialty store, not a low cost store. Of course they are going to charge a bit extra.
