Surly at Total Wine in SoFL

    Looks like the Total Wines in South FL are getting a one time shipment of Surly. Was at TW Plantation today and picked up the following, all in 4 pack 16 oz cans:

    Todd the Axe Man canned 2/9 $15.99
    Furious canned 2/14 $9.99
    Coffee Bender canned 2/15 $9.99
    Xtra Citra Pale Ale canned 2/17 $7.99

    they also have Hell, a Helles Lager but I didn't go for that one. Cheers y'all

    Surly is AWESOME. I heard they lost one of their main brewers to Three Floyds last year

    I think the Surly shipment showed up at all the TWs in Florida (at least it's in the Tampa area as well). I'm sure they won't hang around forever, but the store in Brandon had quite a bit.

    Surprising and random, but definitely a nice change of pace to pick up locally.

    Was a nice surprise, forgot how much I enjoy Coffee Bender. Might have to be a repeat buy while it lasts.

    It's barely over a month...and it was the shortest month to boot...it's still tasting great.

    Going on lunch break as local store said they have a ton. Just debating how much to pick up lol

    I hear amazing things on Todd so I'll grab a 4pack. How do Furious and Xtra stack up?

    I've had both plus Abrasive, the 9% monster. Of all 3 I prefer Furious because of the hop bite. Buy a 4 of each and a Citra. Coffee Bender is a premium tasting Cubano. Serious.

    If anyone has picked up Bender, please post the canned date. Thanks.

    canned date on the Bender is 2/14 or 2/15. Bought some yesterday. TW Plantation had tons of Todd, Furious, Xtra, Hell and Bender

    Total Boca has a ton of it all, including Cynic. Grabbed a decent amount but passed on Cynic

    I'll be grabbing a Todd, Citra and Furious on my way home. Just grabbed a 4 pack of the two new J Wakefield cans. Went from no IPAs in the fridge to packed. March has been good to me.

    they're all tasting great right now - especially the Todd and the Xtra Citra. The Furious didn't seem as tasty as the first time I tried it but was still good. these are still better than almost all ipa's you can get around here and I like the 16 oz can format. the coffee bender is my favorite though! since I never see CCB Cubano anymore, this is an even better replacement, albeit only temporary. think I am gonna go stock up on more Bender soon and grab a pack of the Cynic as well. I totally missed that one. I bet the Helles is decent too if you like that style.
