Here it is kids. The 2021 Calendar for Surly and it’s a good one .

    - Brand new (7.3%) 16oz Hazy Year round .
    - Pentagram 4 pack 16oz cans .
    - New 100 calories (3.6%) IPA and it’s getting 12 packs .
    - Quarterly packs and Small Batch releases
    - Can’t wait to try these new ones Get Loud Hazy Wheat IPA, Razor Gang Dry Irish Stout, and Rivet Head West Coast IPA.

Again this year , Xtra, Hell, First Ave, & Rocket Surgery (really ?) return —- somehow !

I’m really hoping Surly have Brewers Breakfast Golden Coffee Ale in those small batch releases as that was simply outstanding at the taproom this year.

Pentagram 4-packs are super interesting - I wouldn't mind seeing Smoke make a comeback in that format.

That's not a bad idea. It's been a while since we've seen Smoke... and where there's Smoke, there's Mole Smoke which is one of my personal favorite beers.

I shed a tear every time we pull out an old Smoke bottle used for our home brews.

Just the thought of Smoke returning made me gag a little. We have Hammerheart if we really want to inhale campfires!

At least Multiverse is replacing another year round hazy IPA.

I was hoping a new lager or malty beer like Scrillionaire but I guess I'll need to hope for a small batch release although I'm guessing those will be more hops or sours again.

I missed that but yes they seemed to have discontinued- One Man Mosh Pit , a beer I never got to try as it priced itself out of the market .

@BillManley any chance Surly will ever brew Blakkr again? Every now and then I get a real craving for that beer!

Ditto Blakkr and I'll add Furious Black to the question.

We haven't talked about it recently, but I fondly remember that beer. Maybe we'll look into it for small drop next fall.

Just picked up two of this year's BA Darkness variants (mole and double vanilla). I'm really happy with the change in format to 16oz cans. Better price per oz and easier to fit in the fridge, plus I can solo dome them if I want to (who am I kidding, I want to).

The liquor store I work at got the variants, however we just got, I think, 8 cans. I'm really hoping we get more.

I’m glad to see these hit the shelf at the correct price. I’ve been hearing rumors of these landing way higher. Glad you enjoyed them. I’m in love with the mole variant.
