In town for the weekend and curious if the Brewers Table is worth the cost. I'm not opposed to the cost of the food and beer are solid pairings and well thought out. Has anyone on here given it a shot? Additionally, are the beers the same ones that are available in the Beer Hall?

I haven't been, but have heard nothing but good things. It was named one of the top 10 best new restaurants of 2016 by Food & Wine. I believe they have things paired with the food that are not available in the general beer hall. Either way, if you go to the brewer's table, return to the beer hall for a separate meal and get the hog frites.

I've been there a handful of times and I think it's definitely worth it. They have a special Brewer's Table bottle list as well as the same taps as in the Beer Hall.

We enjoyed Brewer's Table. The food was tasty. The pairings got me to try beer I wouldn't have ever ordered downstairs too.

The bottle list when I went had vintage darkness and the anniversary beers back to Five. Pretty cool to have 2010 Darkness. A friend had BA Darkness on tap at Brewers Table, but I don't know if that was a special circumstance. Maybe have to ask if it's available.

Not worth it. Not even close, for us. I went with a group of about eight people & it was unanimous that the food was better, & waaaaay cheaper, downstairs. Not to mention I was still hungry afterwards.

The food & presentations are aimed at the foodie crowd. I'd much rather have the flat-out amazing cast-iron cornbread downstairs than anything we had with our Brewer's Table meal. YMMV.

I second this. Not worth it at all. Go down stairs and get an amazing burger. For 1/4 the price. If you want truly amazing food don't go to brewery. There a ton of better options in Minneapolis.

Thanks for all the feedback! I ended up not going, but might go tonight just for bar service and vintage beer requests. I called the hostess and they said it's perfectly fine to sit at the bar and order vintage beers as long as you make a reservation.

    Thanks again!

My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences we've ever had at Brewer's Table. We went shortly after they opened and were impressed with everything from the beer list to the desserts.

We aren't huge foodies, but try to hit a couple of the more hyped places in the cities each year. Brewer's Table still ranks among the best for us. Although the menu does change often, so that could possibly change the experience.

Sorry but you missed your chance to get in. The Brewer's Table is only open Wednesday through Saturday.

Oh yeah! I remember reading that. Oh well, I should be back in January. Thinking of heading to the Nova to do some hunting anyway.

Probably goes without saying, but if you go, pay the $70 or whatever and do the 4 course meal with pairings. Portions are small for each course, but four of them plus beers over the course of a longer period of time shouldn't leave you hungry. I could totally see ordering an entree and a few beers and being miffed by how much it costs for how much food you get, but it's a better value and more fun to see what the (highly knowledgable) servers pair your meal with.
