    Yes. There's an old thread going in the Midwest forum noting the recent release of Abrasive. I was in the twin cities for Thanksgiving and the new batch was widely available, having been out for several weeks by time I got there. If memory serves, this is the second year in succession where they've done an early, pre-Thanksgiving release of Abrasive.

    First batch this year was canned on 10/30. Yeah, it was earlier than all of us expected.

    Surly Misanthrope is REALLY good. Probably gonna be all 1/6 kegs so get there by the start or you might get shut out. The last Surly takeover I went to they had 14 beers and the only ones left when I got there were basically the ones I didn't want to drink.

    When there is a bar where you can drink Misanthrope, Pentagram, Darkness, Smoke, and Abrasive all in one night, you go.

    I liked this year's Chasin' Freshies, but last year's tasted like this year's Wet, which was not great.

    Abrasive was quite good - got a nice 'boneyard' feel from the hop profile
    Pentagram was a major dud I thought - Just kind of bland
    Misanthrope was a nice brett-forward beer, not too exciting, but good.
    Darkness was darkness. Much like dark lord, everyone else has caught up on this style and this beer no longer sticks out.
    Coffee bender was as coffee forward as ever
