Sup Philly peeps, Spotted Surly Brewing cans and 4 packs at Hawthorne's in Philly. They've got Furious IPA, Bender, Hell Lager and Overrated west coast IPA for $5.95 ($4.16 if it's to go) and 4 packs for $14.99 except for Furious. Rumor has it there are drafts and maybe a growler in the works. I'm looking forward to the day that Surly distributes here for good!
Yep, has been the same stock with the same can dates there since CBC and haven't heard of cans anywhere else. Had my last Furious this weekend and it was well past its prime IMO. But yeah, if they were ever to come here for good I would not complain. CBC event at Hawthorne's was my first time trying Darkness and Todd the Axe Man, both of which were incredible (even at the $22 or $24 they were selling the 4-pack of Todd).
Damn, I've never had Darkness... I'd take that old for sure. First Todd the Axe Man I had was in Barcelona so it wasn't even made by Surly. I might stop by and see what they've got anyway.
not sure if i can mention specific sites here, but there are beer/liquor stores in the midwest with surly distribution that sell online that i'm sure you can find with a quick google search.
