As many have already said, it was another great event. I could've done without the wind but the beer was awesome. A huge thanks to CLevar for sharing all of the homebrewed sours. Our group camped out at their table for a while and sampled all of their beers. I look forward to seeing more of them in the future!

Not sure how I missed that, but well done sir. I am not judging or anything, but how is that even possible?

Spoons take up less space when they are front to back...

I hadn't been to DDay for a couple years, and other than getting pissed that you have to show up earlier and earlier(lots were full by like 7:30?), it was very much fun.

I met a few new people(Bionic Barry?) and shared some awesome beer and food. It was a good opportunity to crack my last '08 Darkness.

Caribou Coffee being there was much appreciated on Sat. morning. The spread out wristband system works awesome- we just flew through the line to get the bottles!

I will say that Friday/Saturday was a fantastic experience. I was doing parking Friday from 4-9 and then got to walk the line and have some amazing beers, meet some amazing people and had some amazing meat as well. Sounds like I might have missed some of the crazier stuff though. From a volunteer standpoint, everyone waiting around was fantastic.

Dude wearing a BLS jersey and had a nose ring, would take his shirt off, had no belt and had ass crack hanging out. Could barely put one foot in front of the other and was dropping bombers in the middle of the street.

I missed the epic bottle share while standing in line a la Dark Lord Day, but I sure didn't mind picking up our allotment almost half an hour earlier than scheduled and the entire transaction taking maybe five minutes.

And let me add to the praise given to the volunteers - all of them were extremely friendly and helpful and contributed a lot to a great day. The staff at Caribou Coffee deserve medals for enduring the Saturday a.m. bombardment, too.

I would assume he's a pretty cool guy in real life... Any idea what bombers he dropped?

When they finally condensed us all into the wristband line up, there were some guys behind us informing their friend about all the stupid stuff he'd done.

Apparently he tried to use someone's tent as a toliet.
When trying to walk to the porta-potty he had to have someone hold his hand.
He appeared to have had a bloody nose.
His hands were all beat up.

He remembered none of this. Between those stories and the others in this thread, I think I need to wander around more. It was pretty quiet in our portion of the line. Perhaps it was all the smoke, I swear at times we were downwind of a forest fire.

I remember talking to him last year and he was a pretty cool and nice dude.

Didn't check the bottle since it was shattered and he cut himself on it. The Surly volunteers grabbed him and watched after him. Sounds like they were trying to make sure he had a ride, he was wandering around aimlessly and left his cooler unattended.

Does this happen to be the guy that shit his pants and punched a guard right in front of me in the bottle line in 2011?

I was also really surprised how few people were getting stuff autographed by "Jawsh", the label artist. He was a real cool dude and cool to talk to. I'm into making drinking glasses out of bottles and he was drinking out of a Darkness glass that he had made so he gave me a few tips that he used to get a clean cut on bottles. He also signed a few of my bottles in spots where I could cut the bottle and still have the signature unaffected.
