I am on the hunt for Darkness snifters, I would like to have at least one to my collection. If anyone has an extra in the cabnet collecting dust, lets make a deal. Down the road it would be nice to have one from each year. I know these are hard to find, message me to work out a deal thanks.
What is up with the 4 minimum "rule" anyway? I don't think I've seen any place other than Surly do that.
They sell them in four packs, as that is how they come from the factory. As unpacking and packing glassware is time consuming, this saves time and money on their end.
makes sense to me. i picked up a four pack and splitting them with a buddy. for some glassware, i like to get them in pairs.
But they don't sell them in four-packs, at least not to online customers. They're separate and individually wrapped and packaged in a typical USPS box when they come. But whatever.
Perhaps they package them in advance as a set of four in the USPS box and once a order is placed they just stick the label on and send it out. My order must have been sent out immediately. I received it within two days.
maybe it was just my box but the stuffing and peanuts were all in the center while the snifters were at each corner. both the lips and bottoms were uncovered from the bubble wrap. i'm surprised they arrived fully intact.
