It sounds like keg only, and at the blowout shows.... :slight_frown: I cant go this year!

As if I wasn't already excited enough for the blowout!

I'm sure it will be available outside of the Blowout shows. All of their band collaboration beers have made it out to other bars.

According to the Strib "The second day of the eight-day farewell Blowout schedule, Dec. 7, has already been billed as Doomtree’s Surly Day. No performance is scheduled that day but members of the group will be doing something else they’re very good at: bar-hopping. They will hit a handful of beer havens around the Twin Cities that day and mingle with fans to tout the new brew"

I'll hit the bars after they leave. I don't need to be around a bunch of bearded drunk guys fawning over Dessa haha.

So does anyone know what the style of the beer is?

    From the article above:

We came up with a "bastardized style" that bucks convention, just like Surly and Doomtree. It's a dark gold, toasty, aromatic, subtly spiced, bitter enough, dry hopped brew with 5.7% ABV.

I saw one person who wasn't the show last night describe it as a malty IPA fwiw.

Just had it at the Red Stag tonight, definitely a malty IPA.

That's funny, because the one review of it on here says it tastes like a combo of Bitter Brewer and Blakkr.
