Just saw this on Three Floyds FB page. Nice name! Anyone know if we'll be getting any in MN through Surly distributors???
    Three Floyds Brewpub
The Brewpub has just released Urine Trouble in 750 mL bottles. $15 a bottle with a limit of 2 per person.

It is a collaboration between us and Surly. An Imperial Brett IPA fermented with the unique strain of yeast Brettanomyces Lambicus. This yeast creates earthy barnyard notes along with pineapple-cherry pie aromas and flavors. Of course with the "IPA" style it’s hopped heavily.

So, this the the third brett IPA from Surly (Brett Wagon, Brett Liquor, and now Urine Trouble)? Or are some of these the same recipe?

In case anyone is wondering the beer has no special label. Just the typical generic bottle with wax.

I'd venture to guess its an evolving recipe? I thought the Brett Liquor was surprisingly lovely, though it could have been attributed to the sleep deprived state I was in at Darkness Day. Everything tasted amazing that day.

More than likely it was due to the large whale migration that happens at Darkness Day.

Had Brett Liquor at Grumpy's a few weeks ago and it was still tasting excellent...

Are you able to buy bottles to go on Sunday at 3F?

I'll double check, but almost positive you can buy beer from breweries to go (so yes to Three Floyds) but not at liquor stores in Indiana on Sundays.

(EDIT: Here is the link confirming my above recollection, http://hoosierbeergeek.blogspot.com/2010/06/what-sunday-beer-sales-mean-for-sunday.html )

Also I've really enjoyed this a good deal (more than I enjoyed Brett Liquor at this year's Darkness Day) when it was on tap at Northdown Cafe in Chicago for their Lions, Tigers, Beers festival. Picked up two bottles without a second thought (which isn't always the case with Floyds limited releases lately).

    Cheers!

Now I just gotta hope they still have it on Sunday so I can snag a bottle from a friend headed back from Ohio.

I hope they have it left as well as I've got some friends planning on coming through this weekend that are looking to grab it as well.

One would believe it would be a decent sized batch as its not a particularly high abv beer for Three Floyds, and it wasn't barrel aged, but I guess you never know.

    Cheers!
