Had almost a full glass of this right at the end of GTMW this year and really liked it. Just wondering if it's still out there and ballpark what it'd take to get.

    A) Harder to get shelf stuff (Gumball head or other FFF, NG thumb print)
    B) Good seasonals ( Founders imperial stout, KBS, BCBS, Juliet/Lolita, Bruery Sours)
    C) Shit I don't have ( :slight_frown: )

    B) or C).

When it first came out Five could be had for A) & I sent out several bottles for good locals. Being that it's a year old, there are fewer bottles floating around, so just that bumps it up into the B-C category.

That being said, there were plenty of bottles made (15K but that's a fuzzy & probably incorrect memory) so I'd toss an ISO: out there for whatever you'd like to part with & there's a decent chance someone will be able to hook you up. I liked Five more fresh, but it's developed a more sour edge to it since release, & that probably appeals to more people. Good luck.

I traded for a bottle soon after release, and I sent a Parabola (also recently released at the time) and a Weihenstephan Hefeweizen on my end. Shouldn't be super hard to land.

Before trying Five again recently I would have let mine go for locals, but damn is it drinking good these days.

I agree with most of what has already been posted. It has fo sho rounded in to a great frickin beer. The sour is more prominent and has (imo) a more complete beer. Throw an ISO, shouldnt be too terrible to get, its not like Surly 4 or something.
