For all those BA's out there who have tried Surly Four, I have a question. Have you come across any beers that are very similiar to Surly Four? If so what are they? Thanks in advance! Brian
The only beer that I've tried that comes relatively close is Terrapin Depth Charge. The beer is retired however so I'm not sure that will be much of a help if you're looking for something currently. Could always try trading for Depth Charge if you really want it - still holding up great!
Will someone please find Brian a readily available replacement for it already?! I'm tired of listening to this guy talk about Surly Four!
I have tried Depth Charge and did not think that is was even close to Surly Four in mouthfeel or rubust stout flavors. Depth Charge was good but it really tasted oxidized. But thanks for the suggestion.
