Surly Furious to drop in CA

    Just scrolling through Facebook, I came across an ad that said Furious is coming to California in August. I had it once and liked it. Looking forward to it.

    They already dropped a couple weeks back. It showed up at K&L for instance for a pretty fair price. ($3something/can)

    This is about 4-5yrs too late. LA/OC/SD is producing plenty of beers as good if not better now.

    so true. Bought a 6-er of Furious a couple of weeks ago, it was very OK. No need to go there again.

    Send us some Todd the axe man though!

    True. But a nice change to throw in my mix once in a blue moon. It would be nice to Pipeworks from Chicago here. I like better on my Chicago travels.

    I would love to get some Revolution from Chicago. I buy about 80-90% CA beers, but it's nice to get some from out of state occasionally to mix it up.

    Half Acre has had a couple recent drops in Sac area. If its here to stay, Daisy Cutter just made it into the beer fridge rotation.

    They dropped her too in OC. I asked if it was going to be a common thing, and the beertender told me that it probably won’t be.

    Hop Butcher for the World, Saint Errant, Mikerphone and Maplewood would be the ones I'd love to see out here. Squeeze It from Corridor too.

    Especially HB4TW, as I'd rather have an IPA from them over Trillium or Other Half if I'm importing from "abroad". I have a 4 pack of Tavern Cut waiting for me for when I'm in Chi in 2 weeks :grin:
