T'was at the Blue Door yesterday afternoon sucking down $2 furiouses when the bar man said he just put on a special 5 gallon Surly keg labeled Hell with a hand written "F". No one knew what it was, but it turned out to be a rather hot pepper version of Hell. Alas, too many days judging "Fruit and Vegetable" beers at homebrew contests have soured me a bit on Jalapeno Beer, but I thought that someone on here would enjoy it! I personally switched to Surly Wet ... which is more my thing.

I don't know the real name (I'm sure Todd will check in soon) but we dubbed it "Hellfire".

I think I remember a post about the ABR fest and Surly had 'Fiery Hell' on tap. I did not attend the event but I'm sure others who did will confirm this.

Fiery Hell is correct. It's popping up frequently around town these days it seems.

I tried some at the Great Taste in Madison. It was really tasty. Spicy and peppery, but not too much so. I thought it was a nice twist on a nice beer.

I had it at ABR. It was tasty, but a little too spicy for me. Felt like I was going to get heartburn from it. :slight_frown:

If you're in the neighborhood, Groveland Tap had Cacao Bender on tap as of midday yesterday. Interesting brew. Fabulous nose to it, taste was good (though not to what I was expecting).
