Surly in the Twin Cities

Shouldn't be a problem to find Furious, Bender, Coffee Bender, Abrasive, Hell, and I think Bitter Brewer right now.

 

No problem at all to find all those beers at most liquor stores around town. Except Bitter Brewer, I'm pretty sure it's not out now. As always, I could be wrong...

 

Coffee Bender has been on back order at a couple of liquor stores by me, and Abrasive has a tendency to sell fast. Not that you can't find them but they might require a little bit of hunting. Bitter Brewer won't show up until May. The only one people didn't mention was Smoke, but that might be a tougher find.

 

Not all liquor stores carry Surly due to the demand, so you may want to use the store finder on their site before you go searching.

I would kill for a fresh Bitter Brewer right now. I wish they would have made that year round instead of Hell.

Okay I wasn't totally crazy, I went to three different stores in Rochester today and they all had Bitter Brewer (canned in May).

 

Perhaps Surly should think of sending less Bitter Brewer to Rochester. On a side note, how's that new brewery doing down there?

 

Or maybe I should buy it more!
I'm not sure, haven't been by after reading the not so great reviews on the forum here, and I've been out of town.

 

They definately still had Bitter Brewer at Andys on Wellner Drive, asking like 12.99 for a warm 4 pack. I considered offering the manager 5 bucks for it but never got around to it

All over! (I was a MN-born native growing up in Mpls) Last time I was here was in April and missed the Abrasives. I kept hearing about them but always came at wrong times. Worth buying two packs?

 

Yes, definitely.

 

Two packs? And you live outside surly distro area? You must have mistyped... You need two cases, and yes it's worth it.

 

Yeah, yeah. I will keep it in my mind for cases instead of packs. I was afraid to let some be spoiled if cellared.
