It's all about the beer, i could give two shits about the packaging.

 

Haskells Minnetonka has a 2 bottle limit and a sub $20 price tag. Not sure what they have left.

I'd gladly pay 3-tier prices if Surly were available in St. Cloud. A Surly beer run costs about $15-20 in gas alone.

 

Furious at Abrasive prices. Can't wait!!!

 

IMO as good as surly is, they are approaching the threshold of what a lot of consumers are willing to pay for premium craft beer.

 

Just curious, if you don't consider Surly premium craft beer, what do you consider them? Do you not consider them premium because you have such easy access to it?

 

Cellars in Roseville has a lot of Pentagram left. 2 bottle limit.

 

$25 for a single bottle is not premium? I guess we all have personal opinion on what we are willing to pay for craft beer.

 

Sorry, what I meant to say is, you don't consider Surly a premium craft beer maker? What I was getting at is that they're premium prices because they really are premium craft beer brewery with premium craft beer.

It just sucks that your liquor store charges more than most. I know many people around the country are paying $28-35 for 4 packs of BCBS and it's only $22.99 here.

 

I typically go to Premier in Osseo. They recently remodeled and have a big nicely organized craft beer selection, there prices are always better, and they take reservations on top of it all. They have the best customer service to boot as well. I did just get off the phone with though about my Pentagram reservation, and they are charging $24.99.

 

Surly isn't available in St. Cloud? That sucks; I picked up an assorted case the last time I was up in Nisswa for work.

 

$25ish is roughly the same price for premium Surly releases here in the Roch

 

Anyone hear what MGM is charging for pentagram? They wanted me to pay $32.99 for a bottle of syx that I had on hold this summer. I not so politely refused

I believe I bought mine for $16.99 at Falls Liquor in Minneapolis, they always have great prices on all of their stuff
