Surly Todd The Axe Man

I just picked up a 4 pack of Todd dated 8/4 at Revival in downtown St. Paul. They had at least a couple more left in the cooler, but I'm not sure if there were any extras in the back.

 

picked up the last 4pack dated 7.23 at minnehaha lake for $15.99

would also like some 8.4 if it's still around

They had a bunch of 7/23 at Liquor Barrel on West 7th in St. Paul.

 

they still have it at Chicago Lake liquors, didn't look at the dates tho.

 

Still a bunch more 08/04 Todd at Elevated in DT Saint Paul.

 

Rochester guys/gals: Costco finally has a Surly cooler and it has Todd in it, $15.99

They have a cask of axe man on at Town Hall Tap right now.

 

The can in my fridge is 7/20.

 

Has anyone seen any August cans lately? Followed up on a lead at team liquor a but a guy came in today and bought their last two cases apparently

I completely agree. Who was the BAer who went there and bought out the last 2 cases or so? Dare to out yourself?

At least I know those 4 packs were priced a couple of bucks above normal when I saw them there last week.

And why is it such a dick move to go into any store and buy whatever you want, as long as it's allowed?

 

... and a beer that has probably sat there for a month and was readily available everywhere.

 

I'll be the first to admit that in this case it's a tad more abiguous than other special releases... just feels a bit "dick-ish" to me when you completely clear out a store of multiple cases of a beer that is (now) difficuilt to find and that would sell no problem. Some of my comment stems from the peculiar timing after a post someone made saying they had a bunch. I totally agree it is perfectly within their right no doubt if the store didn't have any limits. I'll just hold out hope that they are sharing this delicious beer with others.

it's cool, do what you want... I personally like to share as much as I can. More fun that way.
