Lol, I purchased one 4pk a long time ago. Couldn't finish the first can - down the drain. Gave it one more shot - down the drain. For some reason I still have the other two cans in my beer fridge. I can't even bring myself to suggest our guest try it.

For people who have had this how does it compare to Abrasive? I wasnt the biggest fan, dont get me wrong its good just not 20$ a 4 pack good.

Are they really charging 20 bucks for a 4 pack outside of MN? Should be 16. Anyway, Axe Man might be my favorite beer ever brewed... so yeah, I wouldn't flinch even if it was $20. And it's 100x more consistent than the next best pale ale.

I wouldn't call it a drain pour, but after having a couple I have zero interest in ever having it again.

It's the only Surly beer I would say that about.

You've clearly never had Dumpster Fire.

Fortunately I only had a 5 ouncer in a sampler at Red Cow... Surly practicing "Truth in Labeling"? Not that I'd want to do a blind tasting, but I'm sure it was way better than dumpster juice. Wasn't there a local band by that name long ago?

You're clearly not a golfer. I'm not sure that fits into the conversation, but it needed to be said.

Also,Todd the Axe Man should start hitting shelves in the West Metro in two weeks, and will be at the same price point as Abrasive.
