Is the Axeman out in cans or is the Denmark brewery?

Is Axeman year round now? On their website it says it is year round.

If I remember right, Todd in kegs is year round and in cans is maybe twice a year?

Hate to say it but Todd canned 2/23 has low carb. Bought two 4 packs tonight at Zipps.

Less than 1 minute after aggressive pour from fresh can...enjoyed two cans tonight but they were both the same way.

Anyone know if this is hitting distribution like the last batch of cans?

It starting dropping in MN yesterday and looks like Iowa today, should be in Wisco and Chicago soon.

I had heard from a store that we should see Todd the Axeman from March to about November.

Say it ain't so - this whole low carb issue is really getting old.

Abrasive and Todd are two of my favorite beers and I've had multiple carb issues with both. Abrasive and Todd last year and now Todd again. I'm not trying to bash Surly - in fact I just want to feel comfortable buying a couple of my favorite beers. Like many of us, Abrasive is one of my all time favorite beers and I look forward to November each year when it is released. But, last year I got burned on low carb with three 4 packs from different canning dates and didn't feel comfortable buying more. This year after my initial purchase I didn't buy more because I was waiting for fresh cans that never actually arrived. Todd was probably my favorite beer last year after I got some later canning dates without the initial carb issues and I was thrilled to pick some up today but once again we have carb issues.

I would gladly pay the $15-18 bucks for these beers all season long if I could find them fresh and without carb issues. Given how much I love these beers I am just frustrated with how difficult it has been for me to give Surly my money the last couple years.

Glad to hear - mine seemed pretty low carb but also completely delicious - I'm not giving up yet!

I emailed surly during the last run of todd and they said the low carb and head is caused by the high amounts of hop oil. Not sure i believe that since other very hoppy beers dont seem to have this problem
