Drinking one as we speak. I actually also still have a can from last year's run. Found it hiding out a couple months ago, decided to hang on to it (after debating pitching it). I'm going to do a side by side with one from this year's batch this weekend. Should be interesting. Obviously this beer is best ultra fresh, not sure what to expect out of a year old one :grinning:

Two years ago, I gave my brother a can of Wet, and he brought it up to Grand Marais on our annual camping trip, in August. It was not good. I gave him crap the rest of the weekend, and will never give him a can again.

I would expect you to cry as you taste what should be a great beer and is instead a hop-less beverage that is just not good.

It says right on the can DO NOT AGE. Why don't you listen to the can. Won't somebody think of the children???

You obviously didn't read my post very clearly.

I said I found the can hiding out. It was in the way back of my fridge hiding behind some things, didn't realize I had it until it was a few months old. It was not aged intentionally. Ever since then I have been keeping it specifically for this year's release.

I read it just fine, I knew you didn't intend to age it. That doesn't mean I'm not going to give you crap about it, cause thats basically what I do.

Also I want your fridge where cans of deliciousness can be hidden for months. If I have any food in my fridge that isn't nailed down my 14 year old will consume it. Upside is nothing stays hidden in the fridge, downside is my wallet gets a ****** everytime the wife goes to the grocery store.

The bottom line is: check the fridge. If it helps, use me as a reminder: every time you see a post of mine, go check the fridge.
See if you can embed it permanently in your head.
Ed Asner = time to check the fridge.

Edit: I offer this as a public service to all; not to pile additional shame onto one poster.

I actually drank it. I was just upset at him for not enjoying it when I gave him the can

I can relate, I found a Hopslam in the back of my fridge recently, and it shouldn't have even been in there. I don't keep beer in that particular fridge, just food. I think a buddy of mine threw it in there back when it was fresh (we drank the rest) I'm sure it will be terrible though, we'll see.
