Canning Wet today!! Hope to have some within a week. Anyone in MPLS give me a heads up when it hits up there? Not sure how fast it goes, or if I'd be better off waiting for it to hit Rochester 2 weeks from now.

 

Per Todd's twitter, it's supposed to hit the first stores on Monday, the same day as the release party. Last year I went to the release party at Tracy's, and liked it so much I stopped by Zipp's on my walk home to pick up a 4-pack.

My recollection is that the first round sometimes goes fast, but after that, it's usually on shelves for a few weeks at least. I've also found it at less-frequented stores long after I'd be excited to drink it (months after release).

 

If I remember from last year, Rochester got it maybe 3-4 weeks after the Cities. I couldn't wait that long and a generous person picked me up some from Blue Max.

 

Where's the release party this year?

 

At the Icehouse bar on Nicollet and 25th!!!! Less then 3 blocks from my place sweet. I highly suggest Jasmine 26, Panch Villa, Black Forest Inn, Quangs, Harry Singh's, or Rainbow Chinese if anyone that is going wants a place to eat thats close. Dozens of restaurants in this area, thats why they call it Eat Street.

I am so ignorant on any of those places. Since I'm going back on the disabled list on Monday, might be something to check out.

 

aliving1-I believe I'll have to make a trip up to the cities then for this guy!! Don't want to wait 3-4 weeks for it to hit here. I want this as fresh as possible. Wish I could run up there tomorrow and grab 3-4 four packs to bring back with me to Iowa this weekend for friends.
