Surly Wet

Still plenty at Firkins. Didn't seem too worried about running out today when I asked how much they got

 

I havent bought any since the first year. Still priced in line with Abrasive-16.99?

Yes, $16.99 at Firkins.

This year is Simcoe hops and last year was citra I believe...? Anyone else know exactly what hops were used last year/previous years.

 

2011 was citra
2010was simcoe and citra (i think)

 

Just cracked one open, absolutely delicious. Super resinous, without being cloying, tons of grapefruit and melon. I don't know it they changed the malt bill, but it seems a bit sweeter this year (still very hop-bitter in the finish).

 

So as far as I can tell its all western suburbs so far?

 

Yeah, it does taste sweeter this year. Think it might be from the Simcoe hops. Probably my favorite version Wet so far.

 

Just opened one up, definitely getting the sweetness, but the bitterness in the end is awesome.

 

Anyone else having luck at any stores other than what's already been listed? I'm really wanting to get my hands on some Wet.

 

Get home from my 3 week business trip on Friday...this is going to be an excellent welcome home!

trying to get my hands on a case of this after enjoying it so much last year. Trading some '12 BCBS and perhaps some JP La Roja Grand Reserve for it. I like it that much.

I was lucky enough to get some of this last year and it was amazing. Great beer!

Love this beer....absloute brilliance. I liked last year a lot as I have a small man crush on Citra and argue last year has a better nose on it, but i really feel i could substitute my usual grapefruit breakfast with this deliciousness!!
