Surly Wet

    I have a couple of cans of surly wet, canned 9/25/12. Do I need to drink them RIGHT NOW, or will they still be as good in another week or 2?

    Expect a lot of snarky answers about it being too old the day after it's canned but even PtE lasts about four weeks before beginning to trail off so take your time & enjoy.

    One thing people don't realize is that the canning date and the expiration date are the same. While you can drink it past that date, it is not recommended it and you do so at your own risk. Because you weren't able to get to those on 9/25/12, I'd just dump 'em.

    You can wait, but I'm not sure why you would want to. Wet is delicious.

    Stick them in the fridge now, they'll be good for a few weeks for sure, maybe even a couple months.

    Wet is an awesome wet hop and in 2 weeks it will still be fine.
