Per Todd Haug on Twitter. Can't wait for it!
Probably their most underrated beer. My favorite seasonal not counting Abrasive, Wet and Darkness of course.
I'm a big fan of Fest. As far as seasonals go, it's not on the top, Abrasive, Darkness and Wet being my favorite front runners but I usually pound a case or more of it.
Tis the season for Surly seasonal 's Surlyfest,Wet,Darkness,Abrasive on deck in the next 90 days or less
about damn time.
Think we will see it well before the surlyfest party???
In Roch, not likely...
The only Surly beer I buy by the case.
Love surlyfest, but I also love bitter brewer. Hope it makes it to St. Cloud. Cashwise Liquors just got a nice shipment. Maybe this distributor thing is going to be a good thing for people outside the metro?
Any word on this ones release date???
Disregard. 9-9 release date
anyone seen this out and about today? I has a thirsty!
Haven't heard a peep about it being available. Maybe it was released to distributors today? I wonder how fast we will get Wet once it's canned.
I'm psyched for this beer to come out! Not sure why I'm so excited for it this fall but I can't wait to drink it a lot this fall!
Someone put up the bat signal when it's in stores
We put our order in yesterday, so it should be hitting the 1st round of stores today, with more stores getting it throughout the week.
I picked up a four pack at Chicago Lake last night.
Zipps - No limit!
South Lyndale - no limit ad well. Also, talked to a guy there who must have been the boss. He told me that what they have is all they are getting of it. Sounds like only one canning run of this for the year.
I knew you'd be all over this!
Sounds like the one canning thing is true. My beer buyer said he only got half of what he wanted/got last year, and that will be it. If this is what is happening because they have Hell and Overrated going all the time, that kinda sucks. Fest is one of my favorites. And now only half as much Wet? Hopefully Abrasive doesn't take the same hit...
Fairly certain that's what she said.
I dont know any inside info, but if thats true, Hell is nothing special IMO. Lets kick it back to a summer seasonal if its encroaching on Fest and Wet (and maybe abrasive?) production... Hopefully this is all moot soon when the new brewery is going
stores advertising 'no limits' on these types of beers is just a gimmick, right? trying to drum up more sales? we'll be seeing fest on the shelves for at least a week, probably longer.
I can't see any Surly beer that is currently on the roster stepping on Abrasive's toes. That said, The Ale Jail received their one and only drop of Fest today. No Limits.
I made the rounds in Rochester to no avail of course so if any local fellas see Fest around, please let me know. Thanks!
Got a 4 pack of Fest and quickly drank 2 of them...just because.
As usual, we won't get any for 1-2 weeks after the Cities release...
Sucks. I was hoping to have some for the weekend, and I can't make it up to the cities either.
Plus, with one canning run, it remains to be seen if we'll even get any at all.
True. I was thinking that as well. I hope I can get to the cities next week for Wet and Surlyfest.
What is the single hop in this beer again?
