Got my annual flat today. I hope it is as good as years past. Nice that places that I have not seen it at since 2009 now have it back in stock and in ample quantities.

I was really excited for this beer. Recently picked up a four pack. Not impressed at all.. Its the first time I've ever had it, and likely the last.

No doubt about it -- this is the best Surlyfest yet. And $7.99 at Costco makes it even better.

I think I have asked this before, but do they sell liquor at the costco in SLP? Just bought my first 4 pack of the year for $10 and plan on getting more but would like to find it cheaper. This batch is miles better than last year. I only bought 1 four pack last year and normally it is my favorite fall seasonal.

I would assume that all Costco stores would sell liquor as they have Kirkland as their own label for it.

Yes, they do sell liquor. However, depending on what you're looking for, the selection is just ok. You can get some of the typical mainstays, but not multiple types of bourbon, rye's, or scotch's.

SLP does have a liquor store, but it is very limited. I have never seen surly there other than Furious. That being said, they might have Fest and might be worth a look.

Eden Prairie's doesn't. It's up to each city to decide if they want to be in the booze business or have it privately run. Since EP is typically the top muni for sales and revenue in the state, I don't expect they'll be letting that go for quite a while.

Now with that all said, if Costco is in a city that allows private liquor sales it's probably safe to assume they have beer & booze.

I am so happy I see this at my local that could not get it since 2009. Drinking the shit out of Surlyfest and will hopefully continue to do so for another month. I will recommend to keep it refrigerated though.

Glad I'm not the only one on this. Completely underwhelmed.

Bauhaus Schwandtoberfest blows Surlyfest out of the water IMO.
