What beer, besides Surlyfest, do they usually have? Anything special?

Couple years ago they had Fiery Hell and Cacao! Bender. I forget last year. I think they've done cask versions of some beers too. So yeah, they'll have some different stuff. Plus the bands are pretty good atleast compared to the Darkness Day bands.

I notice it says "Note: Beer tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the event." What's, the deal with that? Are you limited to the 4 beers that are included in the price of admission and that's it or am I missing something here?

Yes, you are limited to 2 liters of beer. Is that not enough for you over a max of 4 hours?

Actually NO, it isn't. I have an alcohol problem.

The best way to handle this is getting the highest alcohol beer. Then just start stealing other peoples beer.

Then it seems like you should have a driver with you to get you home. Buy them a regular admission and use their tickets.

I'm not even sure if I'm coming up for this yet. However, if I do, I don't know anyone in their right mind that would go to a beer event and be a DD. I don't associate with sober people.

My wife usually DD's for us. She's not a beer drinker. It works well, because the rest of us don't have to worry about getting where we need to go, and she's tolerant of a bunch of drunken fools.

New category of complaint just added - "too much beer available"

For scientific purposes I measured my steins from the past two years, and both held about 22oz. The mug from two years ago seemed to hold slightly more. 2.67 liters is still plenty of beer though, and you can always slam a beer or two waiting in line.
