Are there any good bottle shops anyone can recommend in the Paw Paw / KZoo area? Potentially might find myself in Grand Rapids on the 5th to check out Founder's - so any GR bottle shop recommendations would also be useful.

    Thanks in advance fellow BAs

Paw Paw has The Oasis. Not much of a selection, but I have found some gems still on the shelf when everybody else has been picked over.

Kalamazoo has Mega-Bev and Tiffany's. Both have good bottle selection...Mega-Bev has a bit more.

Grand Rapids has Siciliano's. Great beer store.

Awesome, I will have to check those out. Siciliano's was the place I went to in GR last year after my last Founder's visit, and I couldn't remember what the place was called. This is definitely it though, googled some images. That shop was awesome; will definitely pay them a visit if I make it to GR.

    Thanks Clownoisseur

Are there no other worthy breweries?

But, hey....I would never turn down a TG growler!! (Naughty 90? Rover Truck? 1492?)

If you want to make a swap, shoot me a message....I live pretty close to the highway and could easily meet up according to your schedule.

    Either way, enjoy your trip!!

For Kzoo I would actually recommend Drake's Party Store over Tiffany's. Tiffany's sometimes gets a couple of things the others don't but they are typically more expensive on everything. Mega Bev on W. Main St is your best bet as I find them to have the biggest selection, the lowest prices & is right off of US-131 then Drake's (which isn't too far away) then Tiffany's 3rd

I wont be able to make it up to TG in Decorah before tomorrow, so I'm at the mercy of whatever TG brew is on tap at my local bars here in Cedar Rapids. Pseudo Sue, Golden Nugget, and Dorothy's lager are probably going to be available. I'll shoot you a message here in a little bit.

As for other Iowa brews, I haven't been very impressed by too many of them. Big Grove is fairly new and doing good things, but I don't think they bottle yet. Not sure, will look into that.

Bacchus in K-Zoo usually has beers floating around that you don't normally see. Also, for Short's, the D&W across the street has a good selection.

Drake's is excellent as well- and well as Muchie Mart near downtown and Salut on Gull Rd.

Liquor Cabinet in St Joseph has very deep MI craft beer selection. I've picked up some hard to get stuff from Odd Sides and Shorts breweries. (Don't confuse it with the much smaller Liquor Locker)

Someone already mentioned Siciliano's in GR....which is very strong.

Bacchus has been slacking as of late in terms of selection, but I will agree it is a good spot to check for what may be flaoting around. Beer and Skittles, just a couple blocks from Bacchus, is another place to check out, you may find a few bottles that have come and gone elsewhere.

If I recommend one stop in town, go to Megabev.

I'll back Mega-Bev as well. I was in K-zoo on Sunday and went to Tiffanys and Drakes, in that order looking for Shorts Key Lime Pie, and Odd Side Pineapple IPA. Both of those stores were out. Mega-Bev had both of those available.

Not sure about Beer and Skittles, or Tiffany's these days, as I have not been in either in quite some time.
But Drakes and Mega Bev both have a pretty good selection, although you really need to check dates at both places, and they both store a lot of beers warm.

+1 on Mega Bev and Drake. Tiffany's tends to be a bit more pricy. If in Gr. Rapids, Art of the Table on Wealthy is not far from Founders and they often have hidden gems that don't get picked off right away. Worth checking out and the bakery right next door is awesome as well.

Thanks for all the tips everyone, had a great time in Michigan. We made it to Mega-Bev, Sicilliano's, B&B (in GR), and to Founder's. Didn't get as much time as we wanted to shop around, but I found (and was given) plenty of awesome beers to try. I think I have about 20 different Short's in my fridge right now, waiting to be enjoyed.

Thanks to the BAs the met up with me for trades - you guys were awesome! Sorry to the other BAs I couldn't get any TG for. I'll make sure to post something again next time I come that way.
