I didn't see a thread for this year, so I figured I'd post one. Who's headed to GABF this year? Any recommendations? I've got passes for Saturday night and figure I'll try to go to WTF if that happens again.

I'll be going this year from Wednesday to Sunday. Definitely want to go to WTF this year and possibly Thursday and Friday of GABF, maybe even do the Farm to Table again the first day.

I'll be going again this year, will be in CO most of that week between work and GABF, no idea on sessions/events though yet

I am seriously considering it but have never been before. Any suggestions on days or a plan of attack for the festival? I was thinking the "Member's Only" session early Saturday in conjunction with a regular ticket for the latter half of Saturday would be enough in regards to the festival. I thought Friday and Sunday could be spent checking out various breweries and special events at bars, plus anything else that Denver has to offer.

Saturday was the worst day to go I thought last year as it was a lot more packed and a lot of the good stuff was already gone from a lot of the breweries. I would recommend going to Thursday or Friday members only if you can...Avery and Crooked Stave would be the places to go also

I will be there as usual.

I think I am just going to go to the members only session.

Likely fly up there on Thursday morning and fly out Sunday night.

For those who have not been, find a hotel now. I booked one months ago but it is just a place holder for now. Free cancellation - in case I find a better one or end up renting a house to share.

On a side note, renting houses with 8 people on trips like this is effin great. We ended up with a ridiculous bottle share at ours last year just from us going to the beer store and buying everything we could just to have it at the house while we were there.

I'm going this year for the first time, but going with a veteran who has already helped me figure everything out. We're going early Wednesday to spend that day at breweries, Thursday at GABF, Friday doing our own thing, Sat at GABF for members only session, then leaving Sun.

If WTF happens again, most likely will check it out. Already got VIP tix for Rare Beer/Pints for Prostates event, and might consider Farm to Table too.

Definitely book a room now. We got a condo within walking distance of GABF.

I'll be there again this year. Best part of the year. Already have my flight and hotel (mmm Hilton points).

My intention is, as last year: Thursday Farm to Table, Saturday Member's Only; Pints for Prostates Rare; WTF if it happens.

Also I'm going up a few days early this year to check out Colorado Springs. Staying there one night. Gonna go to the top of Pikes Peak. Check out what few breweries they have there. Eat. Etc.

Last year I wanted to do a BA meetup of some form but it never happened. We should try again this year.

What night was WTF last year? Friday? I've got Sat evening passes for GABF. I'm sure it will be a clusterfuck, but GABF is secondary priority on this trip.

There is no Friday members' only session.

I'm sure you have or will do your own research, but let me know if you need any recs. I spend a couple of weeks every summer there just NW of Colorado Springs

If WTF happens again, I'm in. That event was better than GABF itself IMO.

Hell I'd happily take any recs. I did do a little research, but I'm sure I could easily have missed stuff... like food. My list:
Breweries: Trinity, Phantom Canyon, Bristol, Nano 108, Rocky Mountain, Great Storm, Paradox, Manitou, Bierwerks, Pikes Peak (on the way in from Denver).
Bars: Brewers Republic, Wild Goose Meeting House, Green Man Taproom
Shops: Coaltrain, Veterans, J&K, Weber, Monument Cork'n Bottle (on the way in from Denver)
    Other: Pikes Peak

Noob question regarding GABF. I noticed some of y'all mentioning already having passes, and from what I can piece together on the website, tickets aren't available yet?

I am guessing they have connections either through beer bloggers, breweries, or someone who works at GABF.
