SW to GABF 2014 Thread

Inevitable that people will back out. I decided to go with about a week's notice last year, I wouldn't sweat it.

 

That's ridiculous. I clicked at 10:03 for Members session and got em. Had Thursday ones in my cart around 10:05 but decided against it

Edit: I am in Mountain time zone right now, but the minutes are the same either way

 

@aschwab Keep trying, honestly. I got my tickets 10 minutes after yours were "sold out." I think as carts expire, tickets appear. I wouldn't give up until noon.

 

I am not too concerned about not going. I have been about 4 other times, so missing this year is no big deal. We were mainly just interested in going to the members only session this time, so if we have no tickets, we will just go to Denver on a cheaper weekend and drink a lot of local beer.

Just frustrating when I was logged in by 10:50 and was refreshing every 10 seconds yet still somehow missed out.

 

Let me know if anyone has an extra Sat ticket, @nathanmiller came thru for my wife's ticket but I'm screwed.

 

Yep tried to get tickets for Thursday and wasn't able to as well. If anyone has extra tickets let me know!

 

This is happening Thursday during GABF...I have a number of Thursday evening tickets I may be looking to exchange for Friday evening tickets if anyone is interested, provided of course I get tickets to WTF on Thursday. A lot of these breweries don't participate in GABF due to the amount of beer they have to provide to the festival.

Event Details
The third installment of What the Funk!? is right around the corner. On Thursday, October 2, 2014 we will be presenting barrel-aged, sour and funky beers from many of our friends around the world. The breweries will be showcased at the Exdo event center from 6 to 10pm. Tickets will go on sale August 20th, 2014 at 6am MST. We hope to see you there!

if its anything like 2013 I would take WTF over GABF session, but who knows this time around

 

I would count on the list at WTF to be top notch. Happy to go in blind and I can't say that about any other festivals.

 

Disappointed I'll miss WTF this year, but I already have my Farm To Table ticket on Thursday and last year that was simply awesome.

The only plus side is this year I won't have the trouble of going to Pints for Prostates AND WTF within hours of each other. My liver started trying to unionize my other organs. There were leaflets and signs.

 

This. I am VERY happy these events are on different days this year!

 

Bringing this back to the top of the forum in case there are new things to share. When is everyone arriving in Denver?

 

Tomorrow at 1...will be at Falling Rock by 3pm and Crooked Stave by 5pm

 

I get in tomorrow morning, have a couple meetings that finish up around 3

See everyone there! Fly out tomorrow am (or today rather) to kickoff the week with a comedy event hosted by Renegade at the Oriental theater with some of the best breweries around the country. Make sure to swing by the Community booth if you're at the fest to show some lovin to NTX craft beer!
