I had a friend bring me back the SweetWater Tackle Box from an east coast. I can definitely get excited about some SweetWater in Chicagoland!

Two exclamation points is way too many for this beer. Once it gets there you'll probably replace those with frown-faces.

Yeah, but I'm assuming it means more than 420. I'm looking forward to some Dank Tank, Hop Hash, and Happy Ending!

If we can get Hop Hash and Happy Ending that would be great, if it's just the regular lineup I'm guessing they will sell for the first couple of weeks then just sit and sit....and sit.

I've been to Atlanta and have had it. The IPA is a favorite. While I'm not a fan of the entire line-up, they've brewed some beers as good as anyone - Goulash, Nugs, Border Hopper and many others. They're no Founders or 3F, but they're a very welcome addition in my book.

Sweetwater to Chicago? Well, there is no way Georgia is getting away with that player to be named later BS. I think Georgia should have to take some Minhas or something of the like to create shelf space.

Sweetwater expanded to Ohio earlier this year. You're spot on. Shelf turds.

I guess if Upland Dragonfly is selling in Chicago then so can Sweetwater.

I really don't mean to be a wet blanket for your excitement - if you're pumped to have regular access to a beer, that is awesome - people should drink what they like.

They are definitely not for me. And, in comparison to what's available in the mid-west, they are pretty unimpressive. Heck, if you're really hard up for their beer, I'd be happy to trade you some (with some of the finer ATL offerings) for mid-west treats.

I've had 10-15 of their beers and felt the same as I did when I had a granite city beer.

I'll do the obligatory purchase to check them out, but I don't recall being overly excited by what I've sampled from them. I also already have an arms length of locals who will be that much fresher already. Not too mention that whole 420 thing kinda cracked me up in the wrong kind of way.
