Swing top clips. Anyone ever tried it?

    A guy at a local bottle shop pointed them out to me when I came in to fill a growler. I commented how the Hill Farmstead growlers were perfect because they fit so nicely in bottle shippers. He said, "Why not just clip on a swing top on a regular bottle?"

    My concern is that since it doesn't actually hitch to the bottle, as the case with most swing-top growlers, will it loosen over time? I'd be nervous filling a 750, attaching that, and putting in a shipper if I thought it wouldn't hold.

    Anyone tried it before?

    interesting.... and a bit pricy. for 2 more bucks I can buy a HF swing top.:wink:
