Usually use a tulip and can't think of any reason to switch glasses between pours or beers. Maybe a rinse...

If I am drinking the same beer I will keep my glass two times. Then I want a new glass. If I am switching beers then yes. I have favorite glasses. For many lagers the same glass works fine. I like the perfect pint glass by sam adams, a nice stange looks good to me with a kolsch in it, and I love a pils even in an oversize wine glass.

Usually not. I just drink it dry then pour the next.

I've never switched glasses between two pours of the same beer, because I feel like whatever nuances might be different between two glass styles are probably overpowered by whatever changes have already occurred in the beer due to temperature increase and/or the slow creep of oxidation from the air that has filled the space within the now re-stopped bottle.

Plus, I already find it annoying enough to hand wash a glass for each different beer that I drink--no need to add to that already monotonous chore.

Pubs are expected to use a fresh clean glass for each new serving but I often say not to bother if the next pint is fairly similar to the one just gone. If I go onto halves I generally keep my old pint glass and transfer the half to it , I don't like drinking beer from a small glass.

Yes if I'm out. Only if I switch beers at home.

Never if I'm drinking same beer but will give the glass a rinse between beers. If I'm drinking wildly different beers I'll use a different glass but again, a quick rinse usually does the trick.

Other than a rinse, have not done anything to change a glass type within the same beer style on the same evening. Curiosity has got me, going to try it.

Nope, never even considered it, to be honest.
I've been using the same glass for quite a while now, no matter the beer, unless I'm drinking a Duvel of course! Then the Duvel glass has to be used!

i have never done this, but I think im going to try it when I crack my next bomber.

NOW, make sure if you DO pick up any differences that they are in fact because of the type of glass, and NOT the fact that the beer may have settled. (i.e.: the sediment in hazy beers is known to fall to the bottom of the bottle over time, therefore people report the second pour out of a bomber to be "better" or "different" than the first)

I never do this at home unless I'm switching between styles. To be honest, one of the main reasons I don't is because I'll get lazy and not want to dirty more glassware. However, I do have a variety of spiegelau glasses so perhaps I'll alternate some of the more "classic" glassware with these next time I'm drinking a bomber.

I don't because I don't want to create extra dirty glassware and I honestly doubt my palate is sensitive enough to pick out different notes. I might be able to notice a difference between a tulip and a shaker pint glass but that's because I suspect I'd simply catch less aroma out of the latter rather than having it highlight different aspects.

I might switch up between different beer styles but that's in large part because I like to use all my glasses rather than just using one or two and having all the others collect dust and there is something about making sure that my Hefeweizen goes into a wheat beer glass that appeals to me on a lizard brain level.

Every pour a new glass for me. Doesn't matter if its the same beer or not.

If it's a sixer or four pack of the same beer, I like to try it at different levels. Maybe once it'll be right out of the can. The next, a normal pint. Then days or weeks later, a balloon shaped snifter glass. Last one may be a pour that is an hour or two removed from fridge, such that it is a touch warmer than normal. I think there is more variation in temperature changes than glass choice. But that's just me.

Usually, its a water rinse if its a weekend session with a variety of different beers. There is no way I introduce two glass choices of a said beer on the same night.. I have enough on my plate with the blind tastings I try to do

I only use the dishwasher. I have broken many glasses in the sink as they easily slipped out of my hands while wet and soapy. Using the dishwasher may be the uncool thing to do, but breaking glasses isn't worth it. (Here come all of the "How hard is it to not break a glass when washing by hand?" replies).

I take a shower between beers. Don't wash the glass tho, maybe a rinse.
