Switching glasses between pours

    I don't think I've ever changed glasses in the middle of a bottle. I don't think the idea had ever crossed my mind until I saw this thread. Doing my best to forget it, now. :-)

    lol i feel ya there, ive broken so many glasses during handwashing ... i should start using a dishwasher

    I go throw a lot of glassware, New beer, new glass.

    I switch between different brews, but not during the same bomber.

    Is it that hard to rinse it out and reuse the same one? If you are switching styles i can understand but otherwise I simply wash it out and use it again.

    I might switch between beers but pretty rare. I usually rinse, fill with water and drink, then pour my next beer. I find drinking the water helps with cleansing my palate and preventing hangovers.

    I also rinse with hot water before my first pour into the glass to make sure there is no residue left on the glass. Pouring into a warm glass also helps get my beer to my preferred drinking temp, for most of my preferred styles anyway.
