Since everyone has posted a pic of their pups, thought I would share. There is nothing like the smile of a pup that can brighten your day.

    This is my boy Goon.

Well, this makes the story of my white dog Ella turning green from rolling in goose shit kind of pointless. I agree, the Scout story brought me to the brink of tears and deserves the beer.

why are we adding everyone on untapped? Is it just cause we love one another or is there another reason like the up coming bottle share?

No one cares about Facebook friends or cellars anymore, it's all about how many friends you have on Untappd!

I will take a stab at this one.

I have story about our dog Max. Max was a black shepherd / husky mutt we got from the pound as a puppy. He was picked out by my sister and was thought to be "her dog" but Max slept in my bed every night.

One memorable story - it goes like this. At school one day I heard a story about "rendezvousing" a dog. As they described it you would open up the dogs mouth and blow in their nose. It was supposed to make some kind of odd noise. Well when I was much younger I didn't think a whole lot grossed me out so the thought of why in the heck I would do that never crossed my mind..........just wow that is weird and kinda neat. I was told it wouldn't hurt them at all so I figured...what the heck. I go home after school and Max follows me to my room. I sit on my bed and Max sits in front of me. I call him over and open up his mouth a bit and proceed to blow in his nose! The sound that emerged from Max was akin to a sound that I imagine mating badgers would make. I shocked the heck out of both of us. I laughed and Max barked and did that I want to play thing where they go down on their front paws with their hind legs still up. His tail was wagging like crazy. I had to show my sister!

I ran to her room and said wait until you see what I taught Max to do! I called to Max and he came running. I told him to sit and he sat at my sisters feet. I then proceeded to make a display that something grand was going to happen. I pointed at him and began to say "Now Max....." I was going to finish with something like "let's show her what we learned how to do" but that is when Max changed the ballgame. At that exact moment after I said "Now Max"....he proceeded to throw up directly onto my sisters shoes. I mean he totally covered them. It wasn't quiet and it wasn't pretty. My Sister screamed at the top of her lungs and ran to my parents yelling "Eric taught Max to throw up on me!!#$*!!" We still laugh at that story to this day. What the heck was I thinking?

Would a cat let me have fun with them like that? NO........Cats are like aliens and Dogs are mans best friend......period.

EDITED to remove reference to a second story I will tell another time.

So I don't have a dog.... and I'm not eligible to win, but I want to show off my pet too!

    This is Oz

She is a Pinto African Pygmy hedgehog.

My girlfriend and I met while both studying abroad in Australia and while there a group of us made quick friends. We were all planning a potluck dinner when my friend Leah and I discovered a dessert called a "hedgehog" what it is, is chocolate biscuits (called TimTams) with melted chocolate, butter and shredded chocolate. You break the biscuits up and put it back together and it looks like spikes hence hedgehog. Amy (my gf) decides after Leah and I keep saying we're going to make a hedgehog to make a sign and put it on her door that says "No Hedgehog Zone, Especially you Seth" well we all got a hoot out of it. Fast forward 6 months later Amy and I are living together when she says she wants a pet hedgehog. I totally though she was kidding and kind of dismissed it. About another week later I was woken at 9am on a Saturday being told that a local breeder just had babies. Well we went and looked at the available hedgehogs and there were only boys available, but after reading how boys masturbate all the time and you usually have to clean there faces off regularly we saw this princess.

Cool Story is that she hates people.... It's kind of depressing at times, but she is skittish even for a hedgehog and gets very nervous and huffy. However one night I wasn't feeling to well and we had Oz in bed with us so she could run around and play well I fell asleep and Oz decided that if I went to sleep she would come up right next to me stretch out flat and go to sleep.

Cats aren't friendly they don't have compassion. I want a husky because of its strong will and wild attitude

Some states you can't (CA, HI) some specific areas you can't (NYC) a lot of places require that they be from a licensed breeder (way better option) One thing that is for sure NEVER get one from a pet store. They aren't properly taken care of and are prone to either fatty liver disease or Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (yes a real thing)

That is a real real shitty contract.

Sign it, and next time you want to go to Vermont you TELL her that you are going to fucking Vermont.

Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome is something you have after a night of drinking.

This is a great story, sorry Bob, this might take yours...but only because crying and emotions frighten me and i like to laugh. Maybe if your story had more throw up and less heart string pulling.
