Is your avatar different, or did I just never look closely? I know it's always (that I've known you) been Bender, but I don't remember the eyes looking like that until recently; the first time I noticed it I just thought I was drunk, but it still looks different to me in the daylight.

 

Its different. My previous one had Bender drinking a bottle of whiskey.

you are more than welcome, but i will tell you this gets competitive, so with you being a self proclaimed bottom feeder, it probably isnt your cup of tea. not only that, you need to have a partner in advance, and trust me, its a pain in the ass for some people to have availability. also, coolers will be stocked with lager and (insert macro) light, so no one for you to have a beer nerd conversation with .

im trying to increase the participation level . im kind hoping it catches on a little bit more than last year and incorporating my development as well, especially if i can get two of every game. then i can expand to a charity type thing.

her reply should be "if it makes you happy, im happy".

Hmmmm I mean, I can get competitive, and fortunately for me, few of the listed events require athleticism per se, more just general skill, so perhaps I'd be a little less of a bottom feeder (really? I think I put it a little nicer) than I first thought.

I'll talk to a buddy of mine and see if he's free; if so, that will solve both having a partner and having a beer nerd buddy to talk to. (and will also solve the problem you seem of have of all the coolers being full of BMC Light).

Yes, I went to the sour fest. NO, no beer being given away just yet. Everybody who guessed said I would break 1000 unique ticks on Untappd. But I passed out Saturday night at 987, still 13 shy. Here's why:

I had a nice share at a friend's house before hand, and we were a bit too primed for the fest. Then we got there and a few key breweries were nowhere to be found. FW? Where? Troeg's? Where's my Splinter? We grabbed tastes of whatever we wanted (Captain Lawrence's stuff was by far the best). But we didn't even bother with half of it. Our friend made the mistake of inviting us inside for a tour of the brewery and offices. We spent the last hour getting toasted on our CL favorites and trashing our buddy's office.

One oddity was that we heard there was some looting and general misbehavior. I don't remember any of it, as I was self medicated. I'd say the last 2-3 hours of the night are nowhere to be found. Gone from the record books.

So, is it possible I had another 13 unaccounted ticks? Maybe, but I don't think so. I'll offer up another other round of this and start fresh… the over/under LIF.

Actually, @RayOhioFelton hedged and said you would not make it. Though I am of the (100% biased) opinion that you should give beer to those people who had faith in you, misplaced though it was

 

Yes & No Ray put his up wayyyyy after Mike had already began drinking. I agree we should start over!

 

I still like my (biased) opinion. I also think @ColdOne should make another trip south and swing through the Philly area, just not on a Monday.
