Fair enough. I went into my search for them this year, having very little experience in the past, expecting them to be similar to Sixpoint's Resin/Hi-Res; but with so many options, the flavor profiles could be more varied; like if Sixpoint did 15 versions of Hi Res with different hop varieties, only this would be all different breweries. Instead I got a range of "hoppy and tasty, but nothing above and beyond" down to "basically like an IPA, but vegetal and off-putting".

Also, not that anyone's keeping score, but I forgot to mention Deschutes in my list of breweries above. Their wet hop beer, Hop Trip, falls right in with the others; and they certainly fit the profile of "I will go back to their beers over and over with no advance knowledge besides their name"

 

ive actually never been blown away by a fresh hop beer myself. i admit i had a bunch last year, but only 1 this year (underwhelmed this year). im with @ripps1 here. i like them, just dont love them.

lol you know you will get more than the rootbeer, 50lbs..... i think not, but im sure u will be happy, with the swag and extras. i just want to get it out mon cause i have 4 more trades going out tues and wed so i dont want to look to weird sending out a shit ton of boxes then. it looks like someone from PA is on my next FIB mod challenge list, who, i wont tell, but i have help, i just have to figure out a challenge wurst than the one i gave @Dicers. and no one is allowed to play with my toys in the sandbox, sorry that just how i am.

Virginia Beach. How far is that from Richmond? Unfortunately I'm real busy once we get to VA, my cousin is getting married. If its not close I won't be able to hit it this trip.

 

Not this time. We try to get to Maine every year or two, but we couldn't make it this year.

 

I googled this as a copy/paste and it told me It's 107miles, the route is mostly west a bit north.

 

@ThreeFishes. Jim, I think i have a couple of free beers at ccb. It was part of the whole "Lets try to break our website" thing. Anyway, as my trustee, I believe you can take them to the dome for me.
