And Now For Something Completely Different................I picked up a couple of 22oz Sunny Side Up's in bottles! I am well documented in my attempt to move to 12oz formats..........I wonder what I could have in mind for these little beauties, and I pick up this nice little gift pack as well

I was told from a great SWTFYWer that a massive box landed on my doorstep today. Fearing the worst I headed home and found it. Heavy sonnuvabitch @jshusc, thanks! Sadly I grabbed it out of the cold, signed paycheck and took back off. Pr0n will have to wait until later. Hopefully just this evening and not super late.

 

Also @Will_Edgar your box for helping my buddy out has landed. It traveled through some brutal weather. Let me know if anything didn't survive.

Not a thread I partake in so this is primarily curiosity, but can someone explain to me how locking that thread, and starting a new one with close supervision is in any way shape or form different from leaving that one open and supervising it more closely? This makes little to no sense to me.

As far as the 'Longest Thread' LIF goes, while the point was to see when we become the longest thread on the site, I think the spirit of who wins is more in line with adding the 'new' thread's post count to the old, just my .02.

edit: Just finished catching up and saw that the 'new rules' for post your haul include no comments on hauls. what??? I can see restricting it to constructive/positive comments, but what's the point of not allowing a peanut gallery? Isn't the point of a forum to be a... um.... 'forum' for discussion? "hey i see you just got the new xyz, let me know how it is" or "ooo what an awesome group of beer, what did you have to give up to get abc?" all seems like reasonable discourse in a thread about what people have received.

A little update on my trade:

The dude sent me a PM yesterday saying he reached out to 3 people on here who had it for trade, and 1 person on another site. He said 1 dude is far in the process of trading it, and said he's waiting to hear from the other 3. Kinda got the vibe that he isn't trying ultra hard.

My exact response:

"You could also just post in the trade boards that you're ISO for one"

I mean seriously, you don't even post in ISO:FT???
